Meetings Schedules
Carlow Local Authorities holds a variety of public meetings in its role as a forum for Public representatives. These meetings are convened in County buildings or other locations around the County. These meetings are convened by your elected Councillors. To gain access to a meeting, you need a pass. To obtain a pass, contact your local Councillor as each one is issued two passes for each meeting.
Monthly Meetings
The monthly meetings provide a general forum where your elected representatives discuss issues relevant to the well-being of the County. There is no monthly meeting in August.

Annual and Budget Meetings
Annual Meeting
This meeting is held on the last Monday of June of each year. The election of Cathaoirleach and the Leas Cathaoirleach for the ensuing year takes place at this meeting.
Budget Meeting
This meeting is held in late November or early December ( within a period prescribed by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government ). The yearly budget is debated and agreed on during this meeting.
