  The Joint Spatial Plan 2013-2019 will set out the overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of the Greater Carlow Graiguecullen Urban Area. Essentially the Joint Spatial Plan will set out where the Greater Carlow Graiguecullen Urban Area is heading and what it will look like in 2019.

What is this Issues Paper for ?

This Issues Paper was prepared to engage with stake holders ( residents, traders, community organisations, non-governmental organisations ), flag relevant topics and encourage those with an interest in the future of the Greater Carlow Graiguecullen Urban Area to participate in the plan-making process.

Public input is important so that the Spatial Plan reflects public aspirations and concerns. Comments or ideas relating to the future of the Greater Carlow Graiguecullen Urban Area are invited. Residents, traders, community groups and other stakeholders are all encouraged to participate in this first stage of public consultation. Children or groups representing the interests of children are invited to input into the Plan.
